Q) First of all what is Panchira?
A) Humm to put it simply its a japanese expression regarding girls showing a glimpse of their panties (still, it can be guys… if they have panties but thats just EWWW!!!), anyways panchira is often referred as a panty-shot and its been widely used in anime and manga, and although not always having a sexual connotation (if a girl with a skirt kicks someone their panties might show, same goes with magical based series or transformation series where the female character might transform showing a brief view of their panties), it is more often a way to encourage otaku fan-service (also known as shitting a story up just to please the minds of mindless cliche ridden fans.. woot woot) by not making a series straight adult (hentai) while still making it into the ecchi/sexy realm, therefore pushing panchira into the realm of fetish and perversions muhahahaha…*insert more evil laughter*

Anywho, the oh so natural occurrence of panchira, tends to fall into the sexy or humouros side of manga and anime, provoking arrousal or sexyness in one times or embarrasment or fighting, she shows some panties and then beats the shit out the character that saw it. I would say panchira turns into fanservice when there is a abuse of it (showing it randomly for no reason), and mostly for the person reading/viewing the anime/manga and in contrast with being part of the narrative if its meant to provoque some reaction of another character on the show… *warning: in japane nose bleeds are directly related with panchira*, panchira nowadays is found in almost every anime/manga genre, especially on shonen (anime/manga targeted to young males, between the ages of 10 and 18, cause well i guess the combination of raging hormones and lack of pussy makes them ideal test subjects for large doses of panchira *wink wink*).

Q) No really what is Panchira?
A) Ohh you mean the site? Panchira.org?… well a bit of back-story is in order, Panchira! was born around 2006 as the bastard offspring from the hentai blog Hentaish, at the time there was a large group of very vocal users “demanding” a forum to chat around, well since i (@fiend) was a bit busy (as usual) and had my head between someones legs *wink wink* i decided, instead of creating a forum, i decided to spin-off a new site on top of a new service that showed up at around that time called ning (big mistake), it worked out awesome, sure it had some kinks, but after a brush of paint, Panchira! was born and everyone was happy, this lasted for almost 2 years, Panchira! growth was awesome especially with a very large selection of videos, pictures and lots of activity, this ended around 2008, when ning decided to terminate my account (cause at the time they were starting  to crack down on adult communities), well that teached me to never, ever, EVER trust any service provider, if you want something stable, good and enduring you cant cut corners, you cant build anything on top of something someone else controls…

OK, thats all fine and dandy, so what is Panchira!, humm the answer as changed over time, from forum to social network back to forum, i would say its a place for like minded perverts to share their love for hentai, panchira, anime, manga and all kinds of silly perversions, a place where no one is gonna judge you or criticize your weird dumb kinky shit WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU INTO!!!! hehehe just kidding, its all good ^_^

Q) So give me a brief history of Panchira?
A) Hummm it goes a little bit like this:

• Panchira version 1 (2006 to 2008) : was a request from hentaish ppl for a forum, so i thought ning would be cool, and it stuck for 2 years, finally ning shut us down for being an adult network [START RANT] those fucking worthless ning fucks! 2 fucking years down the drain, i hate you gina bianchini you’r a 2 faced bitch, you could have done the right thing, sent me a backup, give me access for 1 day for me to make backups, something…..but no, from being extremely friendly and helpful, to being a cunt ignoring/banning me and telling me to take a hike, yep to a paying client… nice one, just know that at least one person in the world fucking hates you [END RANT] what? sometimes its nice to just take stuff out of your chest… no not aliens, noo not loli, but good point hahahah.
• Panchira version 2 (2008 to 2008) : with the death of the dreaded ning version, 2 weeks later i brought Panchira! back from the dead, i tried a rushed social network software, everyone hated it and hated me more and the new Panchira! =FAIL, so again back to the drawing board, those weren’t happy times T_T.
• Panchira version 3 (2008 to 2010) : with one FAIL under my belt, i went with something more stable and well boring, basically a pimped forum+gallery with a nice paint job, sure i didn’t like it much but i wont complaint about a software/version that kept the community going for almost 2 years.
• Panchira version 4 (2010 to 2011) :Zzzzz that awkward version, returning to a social network with all the blingbling ^_^ comin full circle, get it! ahahahah [START RANT] i still hate you gina, love fiend [END RANT].
• Panchira version 5 (2011 to infinity) :This version, same basic structure, but a more flexible, cleaner and upgradable visuals, also basically a fix of all the wrong things and missing things of version 4 hehehe gomen!
